Anna Cameron

Anna is a freelance theatre and events Producer and in August 2009 completed Semi Permanent, New Zealand’s premiere design event featuring designers from all over the world converging on Auckland’s Aotea Centre for two-days of inspirational talks.  Anna has worked in the arts and creative industries for over 17 years in a variety of roles including Director Playmarket, Assistant Director British Council New Zealand, Manager Education and Public Programmes at City Gallery Wellington and General Manager of Cuba St Carnival.Anna is currently working with Barbarian Productions to produce Jo Randerson’s new play Good Night – The End which opens on 11 September at Downstage.Anna was inaugural Producer of Auckland based Massive Company and has a background as an actor and director in theatre and television.Passionate about the sustainability of independent performing arts companies and the development of high-quality new work for touring, Anna’s strengths are in strategic management of project teams and nurturing relationships and resources to realise extraordinary creative vision.
