Tony Hopkins
Actor, Poet, Storyteller
Tony Hopkins is a Black Cherokee actor, poet and storyteller, originally from Washington D C. He trained in theatre while living in Amsterdam and has worked on stage, film and television both there and here in New Zealand. Tony, now living in Wellington, is co- founder of the Baggage Co-op, producers of three award winning Wellington Fringe Shows. As well as chairing the Baggage Arts Charitable Trust (BACT), he is also a board member of Taki Rua Productions and a casual host at Te Papa Tongarewa, the National Museum.
