Ken Duncum is a writer and teacher who is currently director of the MA Scriptwriting course situated in the International Institute of Modern Letters. In October 2009 he won the prestigious New Zealand Post Mansfield Prize for the 2010 residency in France.

After 8 years as the Director of the NZ International Comedy Festival, Hilary left to set up the Comedy Central Channel for SKY TV and Viacom International - 2 days after the channel launch Hilary had a baby, nothing like a tight deadline to ensure you meet targets!
Hilary is now co-director and owner of Creeping Charlie Productions Limited. A Comedy Production and Management company that she set up with Janice Gourley in 2009.

He is a much sought after clown tutor and has taught at circus schools, theatre festivals and for businesses across the globe and was for twelve years the resident clown teacher at Circus Space London.

  • Designed the “Meridian Float” for the Cuba Carnival “Illuminated Night Parade” held in Wellington
  • President of The Island Bay Enhancement Trust since 2003. This Trust is responsible for organizing the Island Bay Festival. A 9 day long community festival held annually in February.
